May Plumbing & Gas has carried out the plumbing and gas fitting works for a large commercial catering company. We provided bespoke solutions as they were required, as the company were caterers for some of New Zealand’s largest movie projects, such as The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Vertical Limit which was filmed at Mount Cook.

May Plumbing & Gas has also fitted out catering trucks and container kitchens to be sent on ships to other countries as mobile commercial kitchens, building bespoke field use appliances including:

Gas-fired bain-maries for hot food service
Gas-fired boiling units cable of being filled with snow to enable high altitude hot water for coffee for many people at once
Mobile gas-fired commercial ovens - these took standard commercial oven racks, are lightweight and portable and were completely portable
Portable hot water production units for washing up in remote locations.
